Dear Friends of La Salette,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish, but might have eternal life.” (John 3:16) Once again we have come to that time of the year when we celebrate the awesome way in which God has chosen to show the depth of His love for our world – coming to us as a defenseless baby.
We want to open our doors and our hearts to welcome the thousands of people who will be coming once again to participate in our Festival of Lights for 2007. Come share the joys of the season with us how ever you choose – lighting a candle, praying at Mass, listening to one of the many concerts, enjoying a hot chocolate on a cold night or simply walking around the displays with your family. There are many choices and many ways to come to understand and appreciate our theme for this year. LOVE IS BORN... in us, among us, through us.
“And the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:14) The Christ Child in His divinity has taken on our humanity to invite us to “dwell” in the fullness of love – God’s own divine life. Come and enjoy with us such a special moment in the history of our salvation – the coming of our Savior and Lord – LOVE IS BORN!
